I lived in GA till Aug 2018, from Aug 2018 till DEC 18 I was in Arizona. Which state is my state of residence?

If you were in AZ just temporarily then GA is your residence all year.

If you moved to AZ as your new home, then you are a part year resident of GA and AZ.

thanks. I actually put AZ as my state of residence on DEC 18, and moved on. While putting my wife's info I was able to add both as it was asking if she lived in another state etc...I wanted to get back and also adjust mine, but it does not get me back to the previous options about the residence state. any thought?

You have to go to Personal Information section and edit it all from the beginning again.

thanks. I ca not find personal info. there is info section and the first question is about filing jointly or not, it does not have the earlier part about the state of residence
