I lived and worked most of the year in a different state. In Nov, I moved to Alabama and started receiving disability. Do I need to submit both Form 40 and 40NR?

No, you would just submit the Form 40 since you had no income from Alabama while you were a non-resident of the state.

Thank you for the response.  So receiving disability doesn't count the same as income from a job?
