I lived and worked in Alaska the entire year of 2016. Do I need to claim this income on my Georgia State taxes?

It depends on your legal residency.

If you remained a resident of Georgia while working in another state, you are taxed on all income, regardless of source. In this case, we recommend that you complete the Georgia State interview to see if you need to file a return for your state.

However, if you changed your legal residence to Alaska (drivers license, etc.) then you would not file a tax return in Georgia, unless you have other income earned in that state. Alaska has no state income tax, so you have nothing to file in that state.
