I live in VA and work in DC for the federal gov't. I just realized I didn't need to file a DC return. Do I still need to mail in my return to DC that I already filed?

I filed my tax return and filed a state return for both DC and Virginia.  I live in the state of VA but work in DC for the federal government.  I read after I had already filed that I didn't need to file a DC return.  Since I only work in DC and do not have to pay back or receive a refund from them, do I still need to mail in my DC tax return that I filed?
