I live in NJ and work in NY. NJ State return is picking up my NY income and doubling that. How do I input from NJ W2 info so program doesn't double my income?
Either W2 is wrong or Turbo Tax is wrong. How do I get TT to only show income, not dble income?

When you prepare your NJ return, you will reach the screen About Your W-2 State Wage Information that explains that the program recognizes that there are two W-2 amounts for the same income.
Next, on Let's Confirm Your Taxable State Wages, delete the NY wages. Typically, the NJ wages will be a little bit higher than the NY wages, because NJ doesn't allow certain federal deductions from income. See the screenshots.

I have a similar issue where I live in NJ and work in NY state. The W2s for 2019 only shows state income taxes for NY, but not NJ. In previous years the state income tax field for NJ was populated. Is this correct? Should I also delete the NY and Keep NJ? The wages/tips/etc. for both are identical.
