once your NY return is correct and complete, you should be able to use EDIT/UPDATE to make changes to NJ to reflect the correct information.
If no, then contact support for a free CD/Download version to get your taxes done correctly.
delete the NJ return.
then revisit the NY return and verify it is your correct non-resident return.
Then "add a state" to bring NJ in again.
TurboTax does not allow me to delete the NJ return because I have already paid for "2019 New Jersey Tax Return", even though I haven't filed the returns yet.
