I live in kansas but work in missouri, it says i owe Kansas dont i get a tax credit from Kansas?

You will get a credit for taxes paid to Missouri.

Go back through the KS section in TurboTax and then make sure you go through the credits section and select the credit for taxes paid to another state.  Missouri credit should be listed here.

Sometimes the resident state (Kansas in this case) is completed first (and there is no MO credit yet) and then the Missouri last.  

So always do the resident state last.  Try this and post a comment if this does not work.
