I just purchased home and business version on Amazon. I am trying to do state tax but I am asked to enter confirmation number What should I do to get my state tax done?

You post shows the Turbo Tax Online version and not the Desktop Home & Business program.  Are you using the program installed on your computer?  And you had to enter the 14 digit License Code to install it?

I installed the program on my desktop and used the license key for turbotax.
