I have to file state income tax for both Arizona and New York. Since I qualify for Freedom Edition, do I need to create 2 separate accounts for both states?

No, you do not need to create two separate accounts to add two states to your income tax return.

To add a second state, select Menu>State>Prepare State>Continue>Add Another State.
