I have the Deluxe software and am trying to adjust my income for the general sales tax deduction. I have non-taxable income that I want to add to my income level. How?

In TurboTax Deluxe for Windows:

Go to the Federal Taxes tab and choose Deductions and Credits.

Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, and start Sales Tax.

Continue, and choose Easy Guide.

Go through the sales tax questions, and then you will reach a screen Nontaxable Income. Say yes. (see the screenshot below).

The next screen is where you will enter your nontaxable income (see screenshot).
