I have the Deluxe software and am trying to adjust my income for the general sales tax deduction. I have non-taxable income that I want to add to my income level. How?

I have the Deluxe software and am trying to adjust my income for the general sales tax deduction. I have non-taxable income that I want to add to my income level. How?
In TurboTax Deluxe for Windows:
- Go to the Federal Taxes tab and choose Deductions and Credits.
- Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, and start Sales Tax.
- Continue, and choose Easy Guide.
- Go through the sales tax questions, and then you will reach a screen Nontaxable Income. Say yes. (see the screenshot below).
- The next screen is where you will enter your nontaxable income (see screenshot).
