I have finished and printed the Federal return, but it will not let me do the California that I prepared. I have seen the finished CA return but no longer do.

I am at a loss to understand why the CA State forms are no longer available. I finished the return but don't see it again. Is it lost, or maybe I need to download the CA again and let TurbotTax fill it in based on the federal?

Please confirm what product you are using.   Next to your screen name above it's indicating "Online Deluxe."

Are you using Online TurboTax, and if so, where is it that you are not seeing your finished CA return?  Is it not in the PDF you view/print from the Tax Home?

If not, we can tell you how to open your Online return back up and download the return from the Print Center instead.

Are you printing to review prior to filing, printing to file by mail, or printing for your records after efiling?

What is confusing is when you said "maybe I need to download the CA again."   It is desktop products that download a state program.  So I'm not sure what you mean by that.

I have done the return by downloading the program from Turbotax on my MAC. Came with a free CA form. The problem is I have finished both the Fed and CA , printed the Fed, and am not able to go back to the CA. I will look to see where the program is. I printed the actual return for the Fed, and had not yet run my own copy. Then I went back to do the same for the CA. My question about downloading the CA may be premature, as I have not looked for the program. Thanks for your input. Maybe we can "talk" more when I see the program?

When you open the program and open your return go to the State Tab and Continue.  Or you can switch to Forms mode in upper left and look though the forms for California below Federal.  The state return is in the same file as federal so it should still be there.

Thank you. After I got a response and had another look at the problem, I solved it. How? I downloaded an update to the CA program. Then, it let me print them. So, thanks for taking the time to message.
