I have been living and working in Florida but have changed over my licences yet? how should I answer the residence question?

Your principal residence is the home that you physically occupied during the year, not the state listed on your driver's license.

If you moved to Florida during the tax year, you'd have to file a part-year resident tax return in the state you moved from.
