You may not need to do anything. Is Virginia your current address? If you moved, it is okay if both states have your current address. Both returns should have the address that you get mail at.
If they mail a check (no direct deposit), it will go to the address on your tax return. If your returns are accepted, you can change your address by visiting your state's Dept of Revenue.
I moved from Virginia to North Carolina, so both my Virginia and North Carolina tax return has my VA address. And I need my tax return for NC as proof of residency for insurance purposes, but the address isn’t my NV one.
If you have already filed your returns, there is no way to change the address on your filed return. Your NC return should show however that you were a part year resident and the dates of residency.
When you file taxes you should always use your current address.
