I filed my Illinois state taxes with TurboTax and the filing was accepted. When I check my refund status on the IL site it cannot find my filing. How do I resolve this?

What should I do if I filed my return electronically but it does not show up on your refund inquiry system?

Two thoughts:

• the state website needs time to update, many states only update once a day or
• you need to get your DCN, it's a tracking number: 

  •  You can fill this form out for someone to call you and tell them you need your DCN. You will have to prove it is you.

  • contact IL at Contact Us and have them track your return.

As an update I called IDOR (Illinois Department of Revenue) and spoke with a representative. They show my return was in fact accepted. Apparently the "where's my refund" function may not show they have it on file until it begins processing. In short, it'll take more time to show on their side. I filed on 2/15.
