I filed an Illinois Tax return in 2017. How can the information be transferred to the 2018 returned? I just bought an Illinois Turbo Tax. Thank you.

If you filed your 2017 taxes via TurboTax, then when you begin your 2018 return, TurboTax should automatically pull your prior year's personal information over to save you time.

If you transferred from 2017 for the federal it would have included the state too.  So it should be there when you start state.  You do state in the same file as federal.
