I file my taxes here & they said they would take out their fees. When I got my return back they took out more. $10.01 to be exact. What happened to that money?

When it was deposited into my account it was not the correct amount. When I saw the deduction there was NO fee of $10.01. That money is missing. I would like to know what happened to it when I knew nothing about it?

Might be your state's sales tax which must be added to your fees.

I filed before & they NEVER charge any fees. This $10.01 was NOT charged before in the past. PLUS this fee was NOT authorized by me.

If you used a paid version of the software, and if your state has a state sales tax, you do not have a choice as to whether you pay the sales tax.   When you shop in a retail store in your state---do you have a choice as to whether you pay sales tax?

That response has nothing to do with it. When I got the fees for what I was being charged that $10.01 was not posted.  That’s why I was asking.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

No one told you how to write. That’s insulting. When you get a bill on what you’re being charged it is itemized to show you what’s being taking out. When you get the result & it is different from the bill, then you ask questions.
