I drive for uber in florida. there is no state income tax in florida. why is the turbo tax system prompting me to file state taxes?

The Florida return in TurboTax is for owners of businesses and rental properties to report tangible personal property to their county property appraiser. 

As long as you have not paid for the state return, you can remove it. See below link.
