Even though you still worked in MO after your move to IL in early October, you will need to prorate your income as it is reported on your IL state return.
You could always go through your pay stubs and add up the amounts that you earned after your move in October. But, if your income was reasonably consistent on a monthly basis throughout the year, then you can just prorate the total income by month. Take the total amount ($xxx) and divide it by 12. Then multiply that amount by 3 for the 3 months that you lived in IL during 2025.
