My company is based in CT, I live in TX but there were some NJ taxes taken out. Why is this and how do I file NJ non-resident form? It is beyond confusing.

You will need to file a New Jersey non-resident return. While in your return, click on "State" in on the far left of your screen. On the State landing page, you will have the option to "Add Another State" - See the attached Screenshot. The Program will walk you through filling out your New Jersey non-resident return. Be sure to indicate that none of your income was earning in New Jersey.
