I cannot apply my refund to 2026 tax in Oregon state

I cannot find "apply refund to 2026 tax" option in Oregon in Turbotax Deluxe (Windows).

In Federal, there is that option, but I cannot find it in Oregon state. Why, and what can I do?

I don't seem to be able to even manually edit in Form.

I've been using Turbotax for over 25 years and I've never had this problem before.

If you are getting a refund from your Oregon tax return, look for the screen titled 'A few things before we wrap up your state taxes' as you are finishing up the state return.

On that page under Other Situations there is an option to Apply Overpayment to Next Year.  This is where you would designate that you want your refund to go toward the 2026 tax return.

No, that is not true. The problem is, BY DEFAULT, Apply Overpayment to Next Year option is NOT available on 'A few things before we wrap up your state taxes' page and under Other Situations like you say. I do not have a vision problem, thank you.

After struggling for a few hours, and comparing this year's program with the last year's program, I noticed that there was "Estimated Tax" worksheet in the last years program where you could manually edit the value. So I went back to this years program and I clicked through "Estimated Tax" section without filling out anything to the end.  Only then, you will be brought back to 'A few things before' page again, and all of sudden 'Apply Overpayment to Next Year' button showed up.

I've been using Turbotax for 25 years, but this was not how it had been working, and in Federal section, that is not how it works now (you don't have to go through Estimated Tax section to bring up the option). There is no explanation anywhere in the program, I just found out by trial and error wasting hours of my time.
