I assume the Resident State is correct showing our old state of PA since we did not move to new state of SC until 1/23/2017. Is this correct?

Yes, the residency is about 2016. Since you didn't move to South Carolina until 2017, you couldn't have SC as your residency state.

You can have it as your mailing address, but that's it. Your mailing address is simply about getting mail.
