I am unable to add more than 5 states Tax returns, but I have 7 states I need to file taxes in. Is there a way to add 2 more states?

"You've reached the state return limit" The maximum number of returns that Turbo Tax allows is 5 states. Unfortunately, I have 7 states to file returns in this year. How can I remedy this? There does not seem to be an option to purchase additional state returns.

You cannot "work around" this using TurboTax. You can go to the state websites and get the forms to prepare by hand to submit to the states if you want to.

Not sure it is still valid, but the "Desktop" software used to allow you to buy as many states as needed......but you can only e-file 3, and the rest have to be printed, and filed by you...by mail.

"Online" software only allows 5 and that's it, but all 5 can be e-filed.
