How do I know how much income to allocate when I've lived in two states

I lived in mn until April of 2016 and became a resident of Fl  at that time.  your program led me to a tax return for MN and it's asking if a portion of the income should go to MN.  how do I know if it should and how much?

You should allocate your wages and other income earned prior to your move to Florida to your Minnesota return.
