if you are located outside the US and do not have a US bank account from a bank located in the US then the only way to get a tax refund is by check mailed to you by the IRS to the address entered on your tax return.

A direct deposit of a tax refund can only be made to a US bank located in the US.  You will need to speak with your local bank about the procedure to deposit a US Treasury check into your account.
