How do I enter on TurboTax Connecticut Paid Leave (CTPL) contributions, which are deductible as state and local taxes on federal income tax return if itemize?

If these deductions are not on your w2, you can enter them as other state and local taxes paid. Follow these steps:

Open to the federal section,
Deductions and credits. You may need to select See all tax breaks
Locate estimates and other taxes paid.
Select Other income taxes
Locate other taxes paid in 2025
Select withholding not already entered on a w2 or 1099
Select yes
Enter the state/fed/local and the withholding amount
Done
