What adjustments are you needing to make? If you are entering expenses associated with a 1099-NEC you would enter them on schedule C. There are a number of adjustments that could be made otherwise but it depends on what the adjustment is for as to where you would enter it.

Unfortunately, legal expenses for personal issues are not deductible from gross income. That is just seen by the IRS as how you spent the money that you received.
