How do I claim the credits for alternative vehicle refueiling and solar panel installation? I did both last year

You can report your alternative fuel vehicle credit by:

• Logging into your TurboTax return
• Click on Federal Taxes
• Click on Deductions and Credits
• Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own
• Click on Show More
• Click the button beside Energy Efficient Vehicles  (See Screenshot below)

For the Solar Panel installation:

• Click on Federal Taxes
• Click on Deductions and Credits
• Scroll to Your Home
• Click on Show More
• Click the button beside Home Energy Credits
• Click through the screens until you get to “Enter Any Additional Energy Efficient Improvements.” (See Screenshot 2)
