How can I be sure my state taxes are paid?

I don't know what state you are in but I paid my California State Tax using efile (which costs $24.99). Did you pay your state tax using Turbotax? If you did, you should get a confirmation email withing a day or two that your return has been received.

I am from Indiana. I did use TurboTax and I owed money for state. I am not sure if my state taxes were paid out of my federal and I am not sure how to check to see if I owe still.
