IF you are an undergraduate in school...and under age 24
Your parents are (likely) providing more than half of your support and they will be claiming you as a dependent on their tax return.
....you need to indicate on your tax file that someone else will be claiming you as their dependent.
...then you didn't "move"....you were a resident of MN all year (attending college in any other state doesn't count for a "move").
...so no problems so far unless you take a job in ND
...now...if you actually "work" in ND, and get paid for some job in ND, you have to realize that ND and MN have something called a reciprocal tax agreement...whereby a MN resident who works in ND will not be taxed by ND, and will only be taxed by MN. You need to tell the ND employer that you are a MN resident so that the proper forms are filled out to not have any ND withholding (and perhaps do MN withholding).

You do NOT say that you worked in another state for this situation...for tax purposes, you only worked in MN. (this only applies to a W-2 job)
