If you were only stationed in NC, you are not taxed in NC on either active duty or your spousal income. This can be corrected by logging on to your account, and in the Personal Information section, making sure that you have selected your husband's SLR as your residence state, and then selecting No to the questions asking if you either lived or worked in another state. You are not considered to either live or work in North Carolina if you are only stationed there for active duty. Once you have these entries corrected, you may delete the North Carolina return.
