Highland park residents are taxed on wages, most forms of compensation and other types of income from residents; so household income for joint filers and the rate is 2% for residents.

Thanks. But we are nonresidents, should we only be charged by 1% income taxes, for household income?

Thanks.

Nonresident should be charged only on the income earned there, not the entire household income at 1% since nonresident.
