Have tried filing taxes even after state forms became available "We could not e-file your return tax year 2021 transmission not available" even after restarting desktop

Do I need to wait for more updates on turbotax or are other people having this issue, do you mean nobody can file on turbo tax or is it just me?

There may be forms required for your state tax return that aren't available yet. If that is the case, the program will not let you e-file. You can check the status of the specific forms needed for your state in the link below.

If you find that your state forms are not available yet, you can choose to file your federal return and come back to file the state once the forms are ready. Please see Can I file my federal taxes now and skip my state for later?

I have tried filing again after the form became available but still receive the same message.

 - Hang in there!  It may take a little while longer because of the process of programing once the forms are available.

Keep in mind:

• It takes some time to incorporate state forms into TurboTax. While they may be available from your state on a given date, we need a few days to make the forms available for use in TurboTax.
• When you locate your form or schedule, there will be dates for both Print and (depending on the state and the form) E-file availability. If the E-file form is listed as unsupported, the form must be printed and you'll need to mail your return.
• Forms and schedules missing from the table aren't supported in TurboTax.
