It said list your state and it gives you a list to pick from. Tennessee is not on the list for me to pick

Since TN has no state income tax it is not a choice on certain drop down menus. If it is not on your W-2 you leave it blank.

If your employer entered TN in box 15 by mistake then delete TN as it is not needed and leave boxes 15 thru 20 completely blank.

Live in MN. Work for Company in CA. W-2 has Employer's Address as CA, but lists IL in Box 15. Do I file in CA or IL?
