GA State Taxes

My question is am I required to pay GA state taxes if I am working remotely from my vacation home in GA 12 weeks out of the year.  The other 40 weeks, I am living and working remotely in the state of FL.  Thank you.

GA State Taxes

Yes. Any income that you earn for work that you do in Georgia is Georgia source income, and is subject to Georgia state tax. It doesn't matter that you were doing the work for a company in Florida. You will have to file a Georgia nonresident tax return and pay Georgia tax on the income that you earned in Georgia.
