FT Resident of AZ but have a second home in CA. Which state do I prepare first

We live in AZ but have a vacation home in CA. In prior years I have filed CA first. This year we are both retired and have zero income in CA.  We pay property taxes in CA but nothing else that I can think of. Should I still prepare CA first as I have done in the past or now prepare AZ first. Since AZ is our FT residence does it even matter?

If you have no income from California Sources, you are not required to file a California return and would only need to file a resident Arizona Return.

Do you need to file? | FTB.ca.gov

I have done that in the past but without thinking I started AZ. Since I get one state free does anyone know if I can remove the AZ filing and use CA as my free one. Then purchase AZ.

Thanks

I have edited my previous post. If you have no income from California Sources, you are not required to file a California return and would only need to file a resident Arizona Return.
