For the first time that I have seen, TurboTax has a line item for Michigan Historic Preservation Credit. The credit is not available by the state, why is this here?

Here is information showing that there is a bill to reinstate the credit. However the credit is not actually available.

If it is pending legislation, TurboTax will collect the information and then if you have already filed, it will alert you, if you qualified for the credit and help you get the extra credit. There are a few items like this in the program with pending legislation. You will not actually get the credit at this time.
