For tax year 2024 I received an $8,000 Maryland state tax refund. For 2025 I paid $217. There must be an error somewhere. Please find it

No one in the user forum can see your tax return.   If you used online "Live Assist" then contact your tax expert.

 You can arrange for the Live help you are paying the extra fee for with your questions from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific time.

You would have to print out each year and compare them line by line and see what’s different.   Maybe you’ll spot something you entered wrong or left out.
