For PA, is the adjustment amount from Federally tax free dividends supposed to be the PA tax exempt amount or the taxable amount?

By default, the tax-exempt interest on the federal return is taxable in PA. To also make the interest tax-exempt in PA, enter a positive number as an adjustment. The positive number that you enter as an adjustment is subtracted from the amount of the interest for the PA return.
