For number 14 on the W2 form for turbo tax, they don't provide a Tennessee (TN) option. I need to input that.

W-2 Box 14 is a 'catch all' box for employers to put anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. We'd have to know what the description is to tell you what the correct category is.

Your Box 14 amount is probably one of the two categories at the bottom of the dropdown menu: Other deductible state and local tax or Other (not classified).

The question was supposed to be referring to number 15.

TN does not have a state tax.  If your state has no state income tax, it is not in the drop down menu of Box 15 of form W-2. Just leave boxes 15-17 blank even if your state is listed in box 15 and box 16 is filled with an amount on your form W-2.

Tennessee does not tax wages so you do not need to enter TN in your W2 interview.  There is not an option for TN in the state income area of a W2 for that reason.
