Yes - If you are an NY resident, then you will need to report all income from all sources (including NJ sourced dividend income) on your NY resident state income tax return.
if you need to file a nonresident NJ return to report any NJ sourced income, then you would be able to claim a tax credit on your NY return for any NJ taxes paid on income that is being included on both your NJ nonresident state income tax return and your NY resident state income tax return.
Just follow the TurboTax guide when working on your states (remembering to do your nonresident state return first) and TurboTax will do all the calculations and credits to your resident states return.
