The Utah state ID is UT. The state employer number should have been entered in box 15 by the employer.
That ID will be specific to the employer who issued the W-2 or to the payer of the document that the income is being reported on. There is not just one state ID for UT.
When you do enter that number in the emploer's state number field..............
For every W-2, and 1099 form that has a UT State ID number in it (for example, box 15 on a W-2 form) you need to edit that form in the software, and end the UT state id number with a lower case "wth" and NOT an upper case "WTH".
no spaces..no hyphens, but a lower case "wth" at the end....(no, not the quotation marks either. )

For certain numbers they sometimes end with three other alphabetic letters besides "wth"....can't remember what they are...but if you have them, they still must be lower case.
