Do you need to file state taxes in your previous state if you were just a student while you were there and did not earn money while you were there?

I was a student in Alabama and did not earn any money while living there but I have just graduated last year in May and found a job in Georgia, I am filling out the Georgia State taxes but do I need to file an Alabama one too?

As you had no income while you were a student in Alabama, you are not required to file an Alabama state return.
