No, Tennessee does not have a state income tax.  You do not need to file a state return for your personal income.

I suspect that the TTX update people are still trying to figure that out.

According to the TN DOR....the Hall Tax has been repealed, and starting 1 Jan 2021, no Hall Tax will be needed starting for tax year 2021 and following.  And TN has no other income tax.

OF course, if you are uncomfortable with this still, you could wait a few weeks and check again.   People shouldn't actually file their taxes until after mid-Feb anyhow......too many people are attempting to recall what they've already filed because they were far too hasty in filing.
