Do I need to state income for IL on a PA non resident return?

I live in Illinois but worked some time in Pennsylvania, so I am trying to complete the PA non resident return.  Do I need to select the option of having earned income in another state on the PA return even though I am not a resident there?  That seems to require sending my W-2 by mail and I'm not sure why that would be required

When applying for the PA Tax Forgiveness, one of the questions asks you for the amount of income you earned in states other than PA.  This is only for determining if you are eligible for the Tax Forgiveness Credit to help low income folks.  It is not taxable by PA and no need to send a W2 to PA.
