Connecticut state form is trying to use the full year wages, but my earnings in CT did not start until 8/3/25. How do I adjust the nonresident wages to be allocated?

In TurboTax, in the Connecticut state income tax return, at the screen Nonresident Wage Allocation, you may allocate your nonresident wages by:

• use the actual dollar amount, or
• use the number of days worked inside and outside of Connecticut.
