CO State Tax, Moved Dec 16, Part Time Resident Question

I am trying to file my taxes. I purchased a home in Oregon and moved into my new house on December 16 and established residency. I am trying to file Oregon and Colorado as part time resident.

On my CO Form 104PN I have Marked "Part Time Resident from 01/2025 to 12/2025". TurboTax is giving me an error. It says "Form 104PN: Taxpayer Part-Year Resident Box should not be checked if you lived in Colorado the whole year".

I left CO in the month of December. Is this a TurboTax bug or an issue with how I am filing?

CO State Tax, Moved Dec 16, Part Time Resident Question

You are correct to report as part-year resident of Colorado and part-year resident of Oregon.

The Colorado 104PN Part-Year Resident/Nonresident Tax Calculation Schedule uses a MM/YY date convention rather than a MM/DD/YY date convention.

This date convention does not accommodate the details of your tax life.

In TurboTax, in the Colorado state income tax return, at the screen Review Colorado Dates of Residency, report 01/2025 through 11/2025.
