You should enter the combined total of all advance child tax credit (ACTC) payments received. Do not enter only the monthly amount. It's best to wait for the IRS letter 6419 to enter exactly what their records indicate or use your bank records to accurately record the total amounts received.
@DianeW777 Thank you! I actually went to the IRS website and calculated each month and came up with the whole amount, also double checked it by calculating my bank statements. That is the correct amount to use?
Yes, if your amounts do agree you can use the whole amount. Be prepared to compare these amounts with the letter if you have not yet received it. For this use and for future use you should create an 'ID.me' account which will allow you access to your IRS information online.
It seems the best way to set it up is on your phone because a picture for identification will be requested.
