Can I e-file state return with TT if federal return professionally prepared and e-filed?

I have TT deluxe with free e-filing for federal and state. My federal return will be professionally prepared and e-filed by the preparer. Can I e-file my state return with TT? I realize I would probably need to duplicate the federal return in TT in order for everything to carry over to the state return.

No. In order to e-file a state return your federal would need to be e-filed as well.

That's means federal efiled and Accepted in the same online account.  I would have the tax preparer file state also.
