No. Since they were paid in 2017, they must be included on your 2017 rturn.

Iowa allows for a deduction of all federal taxes actually paid in cash during the year.

Am I missing something about how CA State AMT is calculated, I am getting none due no matter how many I test- is there no AMT due on options exercised, held and NOT sold?
