California State Tax Forms

Anyone no why there are so many extra State forms for California showing up this year?  Last year I had 13, this rear there are 20.  Seven of them seem to have something to do with owning a business, and I'm retired.  Any help would be appreciated.

It really just depends on what income, deductions, credits etc. you are filing.  There have not been many new forms added to the California return, so it is specific to your tax situation.  If you had self-employment income, it definitely adds many additional forms to any return.
